“The Question”, Acrylic, 16″x12″, 2018
Tis the time of year for strange events to occur, the forest begins to shift from vivid green to brilliant red, golden yellow and rusty orange. You can feel this shift in the air as the hot summer breeze fades into a soft crisp chill that promises the mysterious joy of autumn with shorter days, nights spent near the fire, warm apple cider, baked pies and pumpkin patches.
Another autumnal joy is to soon be discovered by this young fox as he questions his first ever encounter with the autumn harvest. One bite into the sweet crisp flesh and he will gladly face the trials of winter for the promise of one more perfect apple.
