Yellow is a fun color to work in, it adds that little pop of color that draws in the eye and demands the viewer’s attention. “Lemondrops” was a fun experiment in Impressionism with the tiniest notes of realism. The running drops of olive green and deep viridian add a dreamlike quality to the lemons, pushing the citric fruit off the canvas.
